In 2010, the WHA endorsed a set of suggestions on the marketing of foods and non-alcoholic beverages to youngsters (13). These suggestions guide nations in designing new policies and improving existing ones to lessen the effect on children of the advertising and marketing of unhealthy meals. WHO is also helping to create a nutrient profile model that countries can use as a tool to implement the marketing suggestions.
